Today we use the Gregorian
calendar from Pope Gregory; from the 1500’s
Today is January 21th, 2017
January -- Janus's month
Middle English Januarie
Latin Januarius "of Janus"
Latin Janu(s) "Janus" + -arius "ary (pertaining to)"
Latin Januarius mensis "month
of Janus"
Janus is the Roman god of gates and doorways, depicted with two faces
looking in opposite directions. His festival month is January.
Yehovah has His own calendar
We are now in God’s 10th month Tevet, 22th day
Esth.2 [16] So Esther was taken unto king Ahasuerus into his house royal in the
tenth month, which is the month Tebeth, in the seventh year of his reign.
טֵבֵת some say it means “goodness”

Next Sunday will start the
11th month Shvat
Zech.1 [1] In
the eighth month, in the second year of Darius, came the word of Yehovah unto Zechariah, the son of Berechiah,
the son of Iddo the prophet, saying, [7] Upon the
four and twentieth day of the eleventh month, which
is the month Sebat חֹדֶשׁ שְׁבָט

Donald Trump was sworn in as the 45th
president of the United States yesterday.
1Tim.2 [1] I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications,
prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; for kings,
and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable
life in all godliness and honesty.
--------------------------------
Today’s Topic:
The knowledge of
good and evil
By having the knowledge of good and evil, we
have been exposed to sin and accountability.
A choice has been set before us in every
situation, every conversation to select the right thing and shown the evil.
Let’s start:
Gen.2
[7] And Yehovah God formed man of the dust of the ground, and
breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.
[8] And Yehovah God planted a garden eastward in
Eden; and there he put the man whom he had formed.
[9] And out of
the ground made Yehovah God to grow every tree that
is pleasant to the sight, and good for food; the tree of life also in the midst
of the garden, and the tree of knowledge of good and
evil.
[16] And Yehovah God commanded the man, saying, Of
every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat:
[17] But of the tree of the
knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it:
for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.
[18] And Yehovah God said, It is not good
that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him.
[21] And Yehovah God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam and he
slept: and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof;
[22] And the rib, which Yehovah God had taken from
man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man.
[23] And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she
shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man.
[24] Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave
unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.
[25] And they were both naked, the man and his wife,
and were not ashamed.
No
knowledge of accountability and sin at this point.
-----------------------
Knowledge of subtlety
Subtle
Adjective, subtler, subtlest
Fine or delicate in meaning or
intent; difficult to perceive or understand:
Delicate or faint and mysterious:
Requiring mental acuteness, penetration,
or discernment:
Characterized by mental acuteness
or penetration:
Cunning, wily, or crafty:
a subtle liar.
Insidious in operation:
subtle poison.
Gen.3
- [1] Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of
the field which Yehovah God had made. And he
said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not
eat of every tree of the garden?
[2] And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees
of the garden:
[3] But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath
said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die.
[4] And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die:
[5] For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be
opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.
[6] And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was
pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of
the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he
did eat.
[7] And the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they were naked;
and they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons.
[8] And they heard the voice of Yehovah God walking
in the garden in the cool of the day: and Adam and his wife hid themselves from
the presence of Yehovah God amongst the trees of the
garden.
[9] And Yehovah God called unto Adam, and said unto
him, Where art thou?
[10] And he said, I heard thy voice in the garden, and I was afraid, because I
was naked; and I hid myself.
[11] And he said, Who told thee that thou wast naked? Hast thou eaten of the tree, whereof I
commanded thee that thou shouldest not eat?
[12] And the man said, The woman whom thou gavest to be with me, she gave me of the tree, and I did
eat.
[13] And Yehovah God said unto the woman, What is this that thou hast done? And the woman said, The serpent beguiled me, and I did eat.
[14] And Yehovah God said unto the serpent, Because
thou hast done this, thou art cursed above all cattle, and above every beast of
the field; upon thy belly shalt thou go, and dust shalt thou eat all the days of thy life:
[15] And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and
her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt
bruise his heel.
[16] Unto the woman he said, I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy
conception; in sorrow thou shalt bring forth
children; and thy desire shall be to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee.
[17] And unto Adam he said, Because thou hast hearkened unto the voice of thy
wife, and hast eaten of the tree, of which I commanded thee, saying, Thou shalt not eat of it: cursed is the ground for thy sake; in
sorrow shalt thou eat of it all the days of thy life;
[18] Thorns also and thistles shall it bring forth to thee; and thou shalt eat the herb of the field;
[19] In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread,
till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast
thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt
thou return.
[20] And Adam called his wife's name Eve; because she was the mother of all
living.
[21] Unto Adam also and to his wife did Yehovah God
make coats of skins, and clothed them.
[22] And Yehovah God said, Behold, the man is become
as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and
take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever:
[23] Therefore Yehovah God sent him forth from the
garden of Eden, to till the ground from whence he was taken.
[24] So he drove out the man; and he placed at the east of the garden of Eden Cherubims, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to
keep the way of the tree of life.
--------------------
Deut.1[39] Moreover your little
ones, which ye said should be a prey, and your children, which in that day had no knowledge between good and evil,
they shall go in thither, and unto them will I give it, and they shall possess
it.
There is a
clear example of no knowledge between good and evil
-------------------------------
Knowledge can be a good thing if directed in
the right way
God can fill you with knowledge
Exod.31
[1] And Yehovah spake unto Moses, saying,
[2] See, I have called by name Bezaleel the son of
Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah:
[3] And I have filled him with the spirit of God, in wisdom, and in
understanding, and in knowledge, and in all manner of workmanship,
[4] To devise cunning works, to work in gold, and in silver, and in brass,
[5] And in cutting of stones, to set them, and in carving of timber, to work in
all manner of workmanship.
Exod.35
[30] And
Moses said unto the children of Israel, See, Yehovah
hath called by name Bezaleel the son of Uri, the son
of Hur, of the tribe of Judah;
[31] And he hath filled him with the spirit of God, in wisdom, in
understanding, and in knowledge, and in all manner of workmanship;
[32] And to devise curious works, to work in gold, and in silver, and in brass,
[33] And in the cutting of stones, to set them, and in carving of wood, to make
any manner of cunning work.
[34] And he hath put in his heart that he may teach, both he, and Aholiab, the son of Ahisamach, of
the tribe of Dan.
[35] Them hath he filled with wisdom of heart, to work all manner of work, of
the engraver, and of the cunning workman, and of the embroiderer, in blue, and
in purple, in scarlet, and in fine linen, and of the weaver, even of them that
do any work, and of those that devise cunning work.
----------------
Having knowledge, we can discern sin now
Lev.4
[23] Or if his sin, wherein he hath sinned, come to his
knowledge;
he shall bring his offering, a kid of the goats, a male without blemish: [24] And he shall lay his
hand upon the head of the goat, and kill it in the place where they kill the
burnt offering before Yehovah: it is a sin offering.
[28] Or if his
sin, which he hath sinned, come to his knowledge: then he shall bring his
offering, a kid of the goats, a female without blemish, for his sin which he
hath sinned.
Num.15
[24] Then
it shall be, if ought be committed by ignorance without the knowledge of the
congregation, that all the congregation shall offer one young bullock for a
burnt offering, for a sweet savour unto Yehovah, with his meat offering, and his drink offering,
according to the manner, and one kid of the goats for a sin offering.
1Sam.2
[3] Talk no
more so exceeding proudly; let not arrogancy come out
of your mouth: for Yehovah
is a God of knowledge, and by Him actions are weighed.
-------------------------------
You can pray for knowledge
2Chr.1[10] Give me now wisdom and knowledge, that I may go
out and come in before this people: for who can judge this thy people, that is
so great?
[11] And God
said to Solomon, Because this was in thine heart, and
thou hast not asked riches, wealth, or honour, nor
the life of thine enemies, neither yet hast asked
long life; but hast asked wisdom and knowledge for thyself, that thou mayest judge my people, over whom I have made thee king:[12] Wisdom and knowledge is granted unto thee;
and I will give thee riches, and wealth, and honour, such as none of the kings have had that have been
before thee, neither shall there any after thee have the like.
----------------------
Let’s read about some knowledge from
some very knowledgeable people
Pss.14
[1] The fool
hath said in his heart, There is no God. They are
corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good.
[2] The LORD looked down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there
were any that did understand, and seek God.
[3] They are all gone aside, they are all together become filthy: there is none
that doeth good, no, not one.
[4] Have all the workers of iniquity no knowledge? who
eat up my people as they eat bread, and call not upon Yehovah.
Pss.119 [66] Teach me good judgment and
knowledge: for I have believed thy commandments.
Prov.1
[1] The
proverbs of Solomon the son of David, king of Israel;
[2] To know wisdom and instruction; to perceive the words of understanding;
[3] To receive the instruction of wisdom, justice, and judgment, and equity;
[4] To give subtilty to the simple, to the young man
knowledge and discretion.
[5] A wise man will hear, and will increase learning; and a man of
understanding shall attain unto wise counsels:
[6] To understand a proverb, and the interpretation; the words of the wise, and
their dark sayings.
[7] The fear of Yehovah is the beginning of
knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction.
[8] My son, hear the instruction of thy father, and forsake not the law of thy
mother:
[9] For they shall be an ornament of grace unto thy head, and chains about thy
neck.
[10] My son, if sinners entice thee, consent thou not.
[11] If they say, Come with us, let us lay wait for blood, let us lurk privily for the innocent without cause:
[12] Let us swallow them up alive as the grave; and whole, as those that go down
into the pit:
[13] We shall find all precious substance, we shall fill our houses with spoil:
[14] Cast in thy lot among us; let us all have one purse:
[15] My son, walk not thou in the way with them; refrain thy foot from their
path:
[16] For their feet run to evil, and make haste to shed blood.
[17] Surely in vain the net is spread in the sight of any bird.
[18] And they lay wait for their own blood; they lurk privily
for their own lives.
[19] So are the ways of every one that is greedy of gain; which taketh away the life of the owners thereof.
[20] Wisdom crieth without; she uttereth
her voice in the streets:
[21] She crieth in the chief place of concourse, in
the openings of the gates: in the city she uttereth
her words, saying,
[22] How long, ye simple ones, will ye love simplicity? and
the scorners delight in their scorning, and fools hate knowledge?
[23] Turn you at my reproof: behold, I will pour out my spirit unto you, I will
make known my words unto you.
[24] Because I have called, and ye refused; I have stretched out my hand, and
no man regarded;
[25] But ye have set at nought all my counsel, and
would none of my reproof:
[26] I also will laugh at your calamity; I will mock when your fear cometh;
[27] When your fear cometh as desolation, and your destruction cometh as a
whirlwind; when distress and anguish cometh upon you.
[28] Then shall they call upon me, but I will not answer; they shall seek me
early, but they shall not find me:
[29] For that they hated knowledge, and did not choose the fear of Yehovah:
[30] They would none of my counsel: they despised all my reproof.
[31] Therefore shall they eat of the fruit of their own way, and be filled with
their own devices.
[32] For the turning away of the simple shall slay them, and the prosperity of
fools shall destroy them.
[33] But whoso hearkeneth unto me shall dwell safely,
and shall be quiet from fear of evil.
Prov.2
[1] My son,
if thou wilt receive my words, and hide my commandments with thee;
[2] So that thou incline thine ear unto wisdom, and apply
thine heart to understanding;
[3] Yea, if thou criest after knowledge, and liftest up thy voice for understanding;
[4] If thou seekest her as silver, and searchest for her as for hid treasures;
[5] Then shalt thou understand the fear of Yehovah, and find the knowledge of God.
[6] For Yehovah giveth
wisdom: out of his mouth cometh knowledge and understanding.
[7] He layeth up sound wisdom for the righteous: he
is a buckler to them that walk uprightly.
[8] He keepeth the paths of judgment, and preserveth the way of his saints.
[9] Then shalt thou understand righteousness, and
judgment, and equity; yea, every good path.
[10] When wisdom entereth into thine
heart, and knowledge is pleasant unto thy soul;
[11] Discretion shall preserve thee, understanding shall keep thee:
[12] To deliver thee from the way of the evil man, from the man that speaketh froward things;
[13] Who leave the paths of uprightness, to walk in the ways of darkness;
[14] Who rejoice to do evil, and delight in the frowardness
of the wicked;
[15] Whose ways are crooked, and they froward in
their paths:
[16] To deliver thee from the strange woman, even from the stranger which flattereth with her words;
[17] Which forsaketh the guide of her youth, and forgetteth the covenant of her God.
[18] For her house inclineth unto death, and her
paths unto the dead.
[19] None that go unto her return again, neither take
they hold of the paths of life.
[20] That thou mayest walk in the way of good men,
and keep the paths of the righteous.
[21] For the upright shall dwell in the land, and the perfect shall remain in
it.
[22] But the wicked shall be cut off from the earth, and the transgressors
shall be rooted out of it.
Prov.5
[1] My son,
attend unto my wisdom, and bow thine ear to my
understanding:
[2] That thou mayest regard discretion, and that thy
lips may keep knowledge.
Prov.8
[1] Doth not
wisdom cry? and understanding put forth her voice?
[2] She standeth in the top of high places, by the
way in the places of the paths.
[3] She crieth at the gates, at the entry of the
city, at the coming in at the doors.
[4] Unto you, O men, I call; and my voice is to the sons of man.
[5] O ye simple, understand wisdom: and, ye fools, be
ye of an understanding heart.
[6] Hear; for I will speak of excellent things; and the opening of my lips
shall be right things.
[7] For my mouth shall speak truth; and wickedness is an abomination to my
lips.
[8] All the words of my mouth are in righteousness; there is nothing froward or perverse in them.
[9] They are all plain to him that understandeth, and
right to them that find knowledge.
[10] Receive my instruction, and not silver; and knowledge rather than choice
gold.
[11] For wisdom is better than rubies; and all the things that may be desired
are not to be compared to it.
Prov.9 [10] The
fear of Yehovah is the beginning of wisdom: and the
knowledge of the holy is understanding.
Prov.10 [14] Wise men lay up knowledge: but the mouth of the foolish is near
destruction.
Prov.11 [9] An
hypocrite with his mouth destroyeth his neighbour: but through knowledge shall the just be
delivered.
Prov.12 [1] Whoso
loveth instruction loveth
knowledge: but he that hateth reproof is brutish.
[23] A prudent man concealeth
knowledge: but the heart of fools proclaimeth
foolishness.
Prov.13 [16] Every
prudent man dealeth with knowledge: but a fool layeth open his folly.
Prov.14 [6] A
scorner seeketh wisdom, and findeth
it not: but knowledge is easy unto him that understandeth.
[7] Go from the
presence of a foolish man, when thou perceivest not
in him the lips of knowledge.
[18] The simple inherit folly: but the prudent
are crowned with knowledge.
Prov.15 [2] The
tongue of the wise useth knowledge aright: but the
mouth of fools poureth out foolishness.
[7] The lips of the wise disperse knowledge: but
the heart of the foolish doeth not so.
[14] The heart of him that hath understanding seeketh knowledge: but the mouth of fools feedeth on foolishness.
Prov.17 [27] He that hath knowledge spareth his words: and a man of understanding is of an
excellent spirit.
Prov.18 [15] The
heart of the prudent getteth knowledge; and the ear
of the wise seeketh knowledge.
Prov.19 [2] Also, that the soul be without knowledge, it is not good; and he that hasteth with his feet sinneth.
[25] Smite a scorner, and the simple will
beware: and reprove one that hath understanding, and he will understand
knowledge.
[27] Cease, my son, to hear the instruction that
causeth to err from the words of knowledge.
Prov.20 [15] There
is gold, and a multitude of rubies: but the lips of knowledge are a precious
jewel.
Prov.21 [11] When the scorner is
punished, the simple is made wise: and when the wise is instructed, he receiveth knowledge.
Prov.22 [12] The
eyes of Yehovah preserve knowledge, and he overthroweth the words of the transgressor.
[17] Bow down thine
ear, and hear the words of the wise, and apply thine
heart unto my knowledge.
[20] Have not I written to thee excellent things
in counsels and knowledge, [21] That I might make thee know the certainty of
the words of truth; that thou mightest answer the
words of truth to them that send unto thee?
Prov.23 [12] Apply thine heart unto instruction, and thine
ears to the words of knowledge.
Prov.24 [4] And by knowledge shall
the chambers be filled with all precious and pleasant riches.[5]
A wise man is strong; yea, a man of knowledge increaseth
strength.
[14] So shall the knowledge of wisdom be unto
thy soul: when thou hast found it, then there shall be a reward, and thy
expectation shall not be cut off.
Prov.28 [2] For
the transgression of a land many are the princes thereof: but by a man of
understanding and knowledge the state thereof shall be prolonged.
-------------------------
Ecclesiastes
Qoh.1
[16] I
communed with mine own heart, saying, Lo, I am come to great estate, and have
gotten more wisdom than all they that have been before me in Jerusalem: yea, my
heart had great experience of wisdom and knowledge.
[18] For in
much wisdom is much grief: and he that increaseth
knowledge increaseth sorrow.
Qoh.2
[21] For there is a man whose labour is
in wisdom, and in knowledge, and in equity; yet to a man that hath not laboured therein shall he leave it for his portion. This
also is vanity and a great evil.
[26] For God giveth to a man that is good in his sight wisdom, and
knowledge, and joy: but to the sinner he giveth
travail, to gather and to heap up, that he may give to him that is good before
God. This also is vanity and vexation of spirit.
Qoh.7
[12] For wisdom is a defence, and money
is a defence: but the excellency
of knowledge is, that wisdom giveth life to them that
have it.
Qoh.9
[10]
Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy
might; for there is no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in the
grave, whither thou goest.
Qoh.12
[9] And
moreover, because the preacher was wise, he still taught the people knowledge;
yea, he gave good heed, and sought out, and set in order many proverbs.
[10] The preacher sought to find out
acceptable words: and that which was written was upright, even words of truth.
[11] The words of the wise are as goads, and as nails fastened by the masters
of assemblies, which are given from one shepherd.
[12] And further, by these, my son, be admonished: of making many books there
is no end; and much study is a weariness of the flesh.
[13] Let us hear
the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments:
for this is the whole duty of man.
[14] For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it
be evil.
As you can see here, at the
conclusion of the whole matter, the crux, essence of the whole matter is still good and evil
-------------------------------
We need good knowledge now to save
us from sin
Isa.5
[13]
Therefore my people are gone into captivity, because they have no knowledge:
and their honourable men are famished, and their
multitude dried up with thirst.
Isa.33
[6] … wisdom and knowledge shall be the stability of thy times,
and strength of salvation: the fear of Yehovah is his
treasure.
------------------------------
A few more verses:
Isa.45
[20]
Assemble yourselves and come; draw near together, ye that are escaped of the
nations: they have no knowledge that set up the wood of their graven image, and
pray unto a god that cannot save.
Isa.
47 [10] For thou hast trusted in thy wickedness: thou hast said,
None seeth me. Thy wisdom and thy knowledge, it hath
perverted thee; and thou hast said in thine heart, I
am, and none else beside me.
Jer.4
[22] For my people is foolish, they have not known me; they are sottish children, and they have none understanding: they
are wise to do evil, but to do good they have no knowledge.
Jer.10
[14] Every man is brutish in his knowledge: every founder is
confounded by the graven image: for his molten image is falsehood, and there is
no breath in them.
Jer.51
[17] Every man is brutish by his knowledge; every founder is
confounded by the graven image: for his molten image is falsehood, and there is
no breath in them.
Hos.
6 [6] For I desired mercy, and not sacrifice; and the knowledge of
God more than burnt offerings.
Hab.2
[14] For the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the
glory of Yehovah, as the waters cover the sea.
Mal.2
[7] For the priest's lips should keep knowledge, and they should
seek the law at his mouth: for he is the messenger of Yehovah
of hosts.
Ever learning, and never able to come to the
knowledge of the truth
2Tim.3
[1] This know
also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.
[2] For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud,
blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,
[3] Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent,
fierce, despisers of those that are good,
[4] Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures
more than lovers of God;
[5] Having a form of godliness, but denying the
power thereof: from such turn away.
[6] For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly
women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts,
[7] Ever learning, and never able to come to the
knowledge of the truth.
[8] Now as Jannes and Jambres
withstood Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds,
reprobate concerning the faith.
[9] But they shall proceed no further: for their folly shall be manifest unto
all men, as theirs also was.
Pss.14
[4] Have
all the workers of iniquity no knowledge? who eat up
my people as they eat bread, and call not upon Yehovah.
Pss.53[4] Have the workers of iniquity no knowledge? who eat up my people as they eat bread: they have not called
upon God.
Isa.5[13]
Therefore my people are gone into captivity, because they have no knowledge:
and their honourable men are famished, and their
multitude dried up with thirst.
Isa.45
[20] Assemble
yourselves and come; draw near together, ye that are escaped of the nations:
they have no knowledge that set up the wood of their graven image, and pray
unto a god that cannot save.
Isa.58
[3] Wherefore have we fasted, say they, and thou seest not? wherefore have we
afflicted our soul, and thou takest no knowledge?
Behold, in the day of your fast ye find pleasure, and exact all your labours.
Jer.4
[22] For my people is foolish, they have not known me; they are sottish children, and they have none understanding: they are wise to do evil, but to do good they have no
knowledge.

We now have the knowledge of salvation by the
atoning blood of Yeshua
Luke.1 [67] And his father Zacharias was filled
with the Holy Ghost, and prophesied, saying,
[68] Blessed
be the Lord God of Israel; for he hath visited and
redeemed his people,
[69] And hath raised up an horn of salvation for us in the house of his servant
David;
[70] As he spake by the mouth of his holy prophets,
which have been since the world began:
[71] That we should be saved from our enemies, and from the hand of all that
hate us;
[72] To perform the mercy promised to our fathers, and to remember his holy
covenant;
[73] The oath which he sware to our father Abraham,
[74] That he would grant unto us, that we being delivered out of the hand of
our enemies might serve him without fear,
[75] In holiness and righteousness before him, all the days of our life.
[76] And thou, child, shalt be called the prophet of
the Highest: for thou shalt go before the face of the
Lord to prepare his ways;
[77]
To give knowledge of salvation unto his people by the
remission of their sins,
[78]
Through the tender mercy of our God; whereby the
dayspring from on high hath visited us,
[79] To give light to them that sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, to
guide our feet into the way of peace.

Luke.11
[52] Woe
unto you, lawyers! for ye have taken away the key of
knowledge: ye entered not in yourselves, and them that were entering in ye
hindered.
Rom.1
[28] And even as they did not like to retain God in their
knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are
not convenient;
Rom.3
[20]
Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his
sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin.
1Cor.15
[34] Awake
to righteousness, and sin not; for some have not the knowledge of God: I speak
this to your shame.
Col.2
[1] For I
would that ye knew what great conflict I have for you, and for them at
Laodicea, and for as many as have not seen my face in the flesh;
[2] That their hearts might be comforted, being knit together in love, and unto
all riches of the full assurance of understanding, to the acknowledgement of
the mystery of God, and of the Father, and of Christ;
[3] In whom are hid all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.
1Tim.2 [1] I exhort therefore, that, first of
all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for
all men;
[2] For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and
peaceable life in all godliness and honesty.
[3] For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour;
[4] Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the
truth.
Jas.
3 [13] Who is a wise man and endued with knowledge among you? let him shew out of a good
conversation his works with meekness of wisdom.
Rom.11
[33] O the
depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! how
unsearchable are his judgments, and his ways past finding out!
[34] For who hath known the mind of the Lord? or who
hath been his counseller?
[35] Or who hath first given to him, and it shall be recompensed unto him
again?
[36] For of him, and through him, and to him, are all things: to whom be glory for ever. Amen.

In
closing, as Peter says it:
2Pet.3
[18] … grow in grace, and in the knowledge
of our Lord and Saviour Yeshua
the Messiah.
To Him be
glory both now and forever.
Amen
