 שַׁבָּת שָׁלוֹם

Let’s pray

Today we use the Gregorian calendar from Pope Gregory; from the 1500’s

Today is August 2, 2014

August -- Augustus Caesar's month

Latin Augustus "Augustus"
Latin Augustus mensis "month of Augustus"
Latin sextilis mensis "sixth month"

Sextilis had 30 days, until Numa when it had 29 days, until Julius when it became 31 days long.

Augustus Caesar clarified and completed the calendar reform of Julius Caesar. In the process, he also renamed this month after himself.

God has His own calendar

We are now in the fifth month of God, 5th day. The fifth month has no biblical name in scripture. Judaism uses the name Ab which is not found in Scripture.

--------------------

We were talking again yesterday evening, when the Sabbath started, about a conversation I had with our congregation last week.

Last week I presented a short review of the Bible from Genesis to Revelation, and I continued my timeline to the present, 2014.

It appears that after Yeshua, the apostles, Paul, and John all die; there are no more records of any Torah, Sabbath keeping people found anywhere that we could find in history.

Also the Bible has no record of the second Temple being destroyed in 70 A.D.

So if we just estimate from revelation, John, until today, it seems it may be close to 2000 years.

If we rewind in History a bit, we see the Catholic Church was created and organized in 350 A.D.

So we continue our estimation, and bring it forward to the 1500s, we get Martin Luther, who was a Catholic monk; he left the Catholic Church and organized the Protestant Reformation.

In the 1500s the bible is finally freed from the Catholic Church.

Said to say, the Protestants are just step children of the Catholic Church.

Although the Word of God was available all those years, yet people followed made up religions.

Catholicism and Protestantism reign even until now 2014.

As you are aware, communication, networking and exchanging information were extremely hard in than those days, there was no Internet.

Other means of sending data, coding, and the suchlike were available on a much slower scale.

WW1 was July 28, 1914 and lasted until November 11, 1918.

WW2 lasted from 1939 to 1945 though related conflicts began earlier.

We know from history in these two wars, there was much espionage, deciphering code, sending code, which included misinformation, disinformation and true and false data sent back and forth.

By the late 80s and early 90s, the government networking system surfaces and universities start networking on a small scale. The public is just starting to hear about this.

Remember I am condensing facts and figures in time to get to the present.

Now, in 2014, there is internet networking for the public everywhere in the world, exchanging information all around the world via video, audio and type.

Now there are many websites, ministries of many types of people keeping Sabbath, Torah in many versions we hear.

Confusion sets in – 2014

Now we have to filter out what is true and what is false.

In the news there is an overabundance of non truths, lies, misinformation and disinformation.

It is very curious and sometimes sad, when I consider the many histories that are written. It is sad to say there are no records of any Torah, Sabbath keeping people and their inventions, their creations and their advancements of mankind.

We only have records of the modern day Hittites, Amorites, people that are not of the God of Israel and their inventions and creations, some good and some bad.

Look up the word record in Scripture and you will see is very important, especially if you are a Torah, Sabbath person to declare your beliefs and to broadcast and publish them in your current generation. While the Internet lasts, and we still have access to broadcast our beliefs take advantage of this for I believe this will not always be the case.

If the Lord tarries, and there are other generations in the future. We need to make sure that there are records of true people upholding the word of God, Torah and Sabbath, as Scripture prescribes.

Today's Topic

Topic: "These are the words, God’s words"

How simple (or not) you decide…

-------------------

Satan enters the picture

Hath God said?

A lie

Gen.3[1] Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which Yehovah God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?

[2] And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden:
[3] But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die

More lies

[4] And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die:
[5] For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.

[6] And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.

[7] And the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons.

[8] And they heard the voice of Yehovah God walking in the garden in the cool of the day: and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of Yehovah God amongst the trees of the garden.

"These are the words"

Deut. 4 [2] Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish ought from it, that ye may keep the commandments of Yehovah your God which I command you.

Deut. 12 [32] What thing soever I command you, observe to do it: thou shalt not add thereto, nor diminish from it.

Prov. 30 [5] Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him. [6] Add thou not unto his words, lest he reprove thee, and thou be found a liar.

Rev. 22 [18] For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book:

[19] And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.

Gen.1 [1] In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.

John 1 [3] All things were made by him; and without him was not anything made that was made.

We have God’s word, what else do we need?

----------

Let's go back in the scriptures

Exod.4 [28] And Moses told Aaron all the words of Yehovah who had sent him, and all the signs which he had commanded him.

[30] And Aaron spake all the words which Yehovah had spoken unto Moses, and did the signs in the sight of the people.

Exod. 19 [1] In the third month, when the children of Israel were gone forth out of the land of Egypt, the same day came they into the wilderness of Sinai.
[2] For they were departed from Rephidim, and were come to the desert of Sinai, and had pitched in the wilderness; and there Israel camped before the mount.

[3] And Moses went up unto God, and Yehovah called unto him out of the mountain, saying, Thus shalt thou say to the house of Jacob, and tell the children of Israel; [4] Ye have seen what I did unto the Egyptians, and how I bare you on eagles' wings, and brought you unto myself. [5] Now therefore, if ye will obey my voice indeed, and keep my covenant, then ye shall be a peculiar treasure unto me above all people: for all the earth is mine:

[6] And ye shall be unto me a kingdom of priests, and an holy nation. These are the words which thou shalt speak unto the children of Israel.

[7] And Moses came and called for the elders of the people, and laid before their faces all these words which Yehovah commanded him.

Exod. 35 [1] And Moses gathered all the congregation of the children of Israel together, and said unto them, These are the words which Yehovah hath commanded, that ye should do them. [2] Six days shall work be done, but on the seventh day there shall be to you an holy day, a sabbath of rest to Yehovah: whosoever doeth work therein shall be put to death. [3] Ye shall kindle no fire throughout your habitations upon the sabbath day.

----------

Let's go ahead in the scriptures

Deut. 29 [1] These are the words of the covenant, which Yehovah commanded Moses to make with the children of Israel in the land of Moab, beside the covenant which he made with them in Horeb.

[2] And Moses called unto all Israel, and said unto them, Ye have seen all that Yehovah did before your eyes in the land of Egypt unto Pharaoh, and unto all his servants, and unto all his land;
[3] The great temptations which thine eyes have seen, the signs, and those great miracles:
[4] Yet Yehovah hath not given you an heart to perceive, and eyes to see, and ears to hear, unto this day.
[5] And I have led you forty years in the wilderness: your clothes are not waxen old upon you, and thy shoe is not waxen old upon thy foot.
[6] Ye have not eaten bread, neither have ye drunk wine or strong drink: that ye might know that I am Yehovah your God.
[7] And when ye came unto this place, Sihon the king of Heshbon, and Og the king of Bashan, came out against us unto battle, and we smote them:
[8] And we took their land, and gave it for an inheritance unto the Reubenites, and to the Gadites, and to the half tribe of Manasseh.
[9] Keep therefore the words of this covenant, and do them, that ye may prosper in all that ye do.
[10] Ye stand this day all of you before Yehovah your God; your captains of your tribes, your elders, and your officers, with all the men of Israel,
[11] Your little ones, your wives, and thy stranger that is in thy camp, from the hewer of thy wood unto the drawer of thy water:
[12] That thou shouldest enter into covenant with Yehovah thy God, and into his oath, which Yehovah thy God maketh with thee this day:
[13] That he may establish thee to day for a people unto himself, and that he may be unto thee a God, as he hath said unto thee, and as he hath sworn unto thy fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob.
[14] Neither with you only do I make this covenant and this oath;
[15] But with him that standeth here with us this day before Yehovah our God, and also with him that is not here with us this day:
[16] (For ye know how we have dwelt in the land of Egypt; and how we came through the nations which ye passed by;
[17] And ye have seen their abominations, and their idols, wood and stone, silver and gold, which were among them:)
[18] Lest there should be among you man, or woman, or family, or tribe, whose heart turneth away this day from Yehovah our God, to go and serve the gods of these nations; lest there should be among you a root that beareth gall and wormwood;
[19] And it come to pass, when he heareth the words of this curse, that he bless himself in his heart, saying, I shall have peace, though I walk in the imagination of mine heart, to add drunkenness to thirst:
[20] Yehovah will not spare him, but then the anger of Yehovah and his jealousy shall smoke against that man, and all the curses that are written in this book shall lie upon him, and Yehovah shall blot out his name from under heaven.
[21] And Yehovah shall separate him unto evil out of all the tribes of Israel, according to all the curses of the covenant that are written in this book of the law:
[22] So that the generation to come of your children that shall rise up after you, and the stranger that shall come from a far land, shall say, when they see the plagues of that land, and the sicknesses which Yehovah hath laid upon it;
[23] And that the whole land thereof is brimstone, and salt, and burning, that it is not sown, nor beareth, nor any grass groweth therein, like the overthrow of Sodom, and Gomorrah, Admah, and Zeboim, which Yehovah overthrew in his anger, and in his wrath:
[24] Even all nations shall say, Wherefore hath Yehovah done thus unto this land? what meaneth the heat of this great anger?
[25] Then men shall say, Because they have forsaken the covenant of Yehovah God of their fathers, which he made with them when he brought them forth out of the land of Egypt:
[26] For they went and served other gods, and worshipped them, gods whom they knew not, and whom he had not given unto them:
[27] And the anger of Yehovah was kindled against this land, to bring upon it all the curses that are written in this book:
[28] And Yehovah rooted them out of their land in anger, and in wrath, and in great indignation, and cast them into another land, as it is this day.
[29] The secret things belong unto Yehovah our God: but those things which are revealed belong unto us and to our children for ever, that we may do all the words of this law.

Luke. 24 [44] And he (Yeshua) said unto them, These are the words which I spake unto you, while I was yet with you, that all things must be fulfilled, which were written (Tanak),in the law of Moses, and in the prophets, and in the psalms, concerning me.

[45] Then opened he their understanding, that they might understand the scriptures,

[46] And said unto them, Thus it is written, and thus it behoved Messiah to suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day:
[47] And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.
[48] And ye are witnesses of these things.
[49] And, behold, I send the promise of my Father upon you: but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued with power from on high.
[50] And he led them out as far as to Bethany, and he lifted up his hands, and blessed them.
[51] And it came to pass, while he blessed them, he was parted from them, and carried up into heaven.
[52] And they worshipped him, and returned to Jerusalem with great joy:
[53] And were continually in the temple, praising and blessing God. Amen.

The Word of God - Torah, Prophets and Writings (psalms)

Torah (law, teachings)

Ta Na Kk is a acronym for:

T = Torah - first 5 books of Moses

N = Navi' eem or prophets (pl. sounds like - Na vi eem)

K = Ke'tuvim or writings (psalms etc.)

-----------------------

Gospels, Acts, letters and Revelation are about people keeping the Scriptures - TaNaKh

The Gospels, Acts, letters and Revelation are considered scripture just because the people in these writings are referring back to the TaNaKh for their point of reference.

(It is written)

The four gospels are the accounts of the Yeshua's  birth, life, death and resurrection.

Acts is an account of the Jews in chapter 2 and Gentiles in chapter 10 receiving the Holy Spirit,  also the Jerusalem church and Paul’s adventures.

All the epistles, letters are about people living The TaNaKh written by Paul, James, John, Peter, Jude etc...

These have examples of things in the churches to do and not to do,  also how to handle different people and situations.

Revelation is an account of:

Rev.1 [19] Write the things which thou hast seen, and the things which are, and the things which shall be hereafter ;

Rev.1 [1] The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to shew unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass; and he sent and signified it by his angel unto his servant John:

In closing:

Watch and beware of the life you so-call live, check for:

False data, false people, false doctrine, false situations, propaganda, misinformation, disinformation, forged documents, fabrications, and misdirection, simply put, lies!

You might find yourself painted in the wrong picture

L

Remember in all things:

John 7 [24] Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment

2 Cor. 5 [7] For we walk by faith, not by sight

Always remind each other about the ways of God

Lest we forget about the God of Israel!

Seek and search out the truth

Broadcast and publish the truth of the word as you have the chance.

In some countries, their leaders already turn off the Internet for their citizens at their discretion. Freedom of speech does not reign in other countries.

Remember:

The God of Israel is hidden

The God of Israel's land is given away

The God of Israel's true people are hidden

The God of Israel's true Messiah, the Word of God are hidden

The God of Israel's justice and judgments are hidden

The God of Israel's torah / laws, commandments are hidden

The God of Israel's feasts are hidden

The God of Israel's Sabbath is hidden

The God of Israel's food laws are hidden

The God of Israel's calendar is hidden

Be aware of the many fraudulent unscriptural supposed Torah keeping people and their websites.

** In most bibles, from the Hebrew TaNakh, in English the word Yah / Jah is only one time in Psalm 68:4 (over 50 times missing) – and the word Yehovah is only 7 times.  (Over 6500 times missing) All the other many times the Hebrew words Yah and Yehovah are replaced by either the words LORD or GOD.

** In most bibles, “Yah and Yehovah” are missing in both the Greek and English, in all the Gospels and Letters.

and so much more…

Go on record in your generation declaring the truth of the word of God.
