Today is Oct. 22, 2011
The Gregorian calendar (Pope Gregory, 1500's)
The word October comes from the word octo, eight, because it was the 8th month in the old Roman calendar
However we restore the calendar of God
We are now in the 7th month of God which is called ha Ethanim, 23rd day
1 Kgs.8 [2] And all the men of Israel assembled themselves
unto king Solomon at the feast in the month ha Ethanim , which is the seventh month .
This will be my last
time for this year to explain the 7th month - ha Ethanim

I explain the
Sabbath, the 7th day, each week
This is how
simple it is:
Exod. 20
[8] Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy.
[9]
Six days shalt thou labour, and do
all thy work:
[10]
But the seventh day is the sabbath of Yehovah thy God: (Rev.1 John was in Spirit on Yehovah’s
day)
in it thou
shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy
daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger
that is within thy gates:
[11] For in six days Yehovah made heaven and earth, the
sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore Yehovah blessed
the sabbath day, and
hallowed it.
------------
Same in Deut. 5
[12]
Keep the sabbath day to sanctify
it, as Yehovah thy God
hath commanded thee.
[13] Six days thou shalt labour, and do
all thy work:
[14] But the seventh day is the sabbath of Yehovah thy God:
in it thou shalt not do
any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, nor thy manservant, nor thy
maidservant, nor thine ox, nor thine ass, nor
any of thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within
thy gates; that thy manservant and thy maidservant may rest as well
as thou.
[15] And remember that thou wast a servant
in the land of Egypt, and that Yehovah thy God brought thee out
thence through a mighty hand and by a stretched out arm: therefore Yehovah thy God commanded thee to keep the sabbath day.
------------
Lev. 23 [3] Six days shall work be done:
but
the seventh day is the Sabbath of rest, an “holy convocation”;
ye shall do
no work therein:
it is the
Sabbath of Yehovah in all your dwellings.
--------
Isa. 58 [13] If thou turn away thy foot
from the sabbath, from doing thy pleasure on my holy day; and call the sabbath a
delight, the holy of Yehovah, honourable; and shalt honour him,
1 - not doing thine own ways,
2 - nor finding thine own pleasure,
3 - nor speaking thine own words:
[14]
Then shalt thou
delight thyself in Yehovah; and I
will cause thee to ride upon the high places of the earth, and feed thee with
the heritage of Jacob thy father: for the mouth of Yehovah hath spoken it.
------------------------
Buying and selling
is evil on the Sabbath
Neh. 13 [16] There dwelt men of Tyre also
therein, which brought fish, and all manner of ware, and sold on the Sabbath unto the children of Judah,
and in Jerusalem.
[17]
Then I contended with the nobles of Judah, and said unto them, what evil thing is this that ye do, and profane the Sabbath
day?
-----------------
The first day is mentioned only 2 times when they met for a certain
event in Acts and the letter to the Corinthians
It
never says the 1st day replaced the 7th day as Sabbath
It
never says the 1st day is a Commandment or a rest
Acts 20:7 And upon the first day
of the week,
when the disciples came together to break bread, Paul preached unto them, ready
to depart on the morrow; and continued his speech until midnight.
1Corinthians 16:2 Upon the first
day of the week let every one of you lay by him in store, as God hath
prospered him, that there be no gatherings when I come.
------------------------
We read from law and the prophets every Sabbath like they
did in the Book of Acts.
60 times in the Gospels
and letters it uses the word Sabbath!

A side note:
We heard that on October 14,
2004, that on Oct. 13, 2004 a unique ceremony took place. Probably only
the second of its kind in the past 16 to 1800 years - did take place in Tiberias that day:
The launching of a Sanhedrin, the highest Jewish-legal
tribunal in the Land of Israel again
Go figure, Sanhedrin is a Greek
word
On Oct. 13, 2011, the Sanhedrin was 7 years old – beware!

Sad to say, I have to
explain these pagan holidays every year
We are commanded by God - Learn not the way
of the heathen
Jer.10 [2] Thus saith Yehovah, Learn not the way of the heathen , and be not
dismayed at the signs of heaven; for the heathen are dismayed at them.
The customs of the
people are vain
[3] For the customs of the
people are vain: for one cutteth a tree out of the forest, the work of the hands of the workman,
with the axe. [4] They deck it with silver and with gold; they fasten it with
nails and with hammers that it move not.

Tis the season to be pagan

[22] Woe unto them that

wicked for reward, and take away the righteousness of the righteous from him.

Many People "Making excuses" (to serve God
all the way)
I can’t tell you how many times we have heard
these words in the past - I’m just not there yet
Luke 14 [16] Then said he unto him,
A certain man made a great supper, and bade many:
[17] And sent his servant at supper time to say to them
that were bidden, Come; for all things are now ready.
[18] And they all with one consent began to
make excuse.
The first said unto him, I have bought a piece
of ground, and I must needs go and see it: I
pray thee have me excused.
[19] And another said,
I have bought five yoke of oxen, and I go to prove them: I pray thee have me excused.
[20] And another said, I have married a wife,
and therefore I cannot come.
[21] So that servant came, and shewed
his lord these things. Then the master of the house
being angry said to his servant, Go out quickly into the streets and lanes of
the city, and bring in hither the poor, and the maimed, and the halt, and the
blind.
[22] And the servant said, Lord, it is done as thou hast
commanded, and yet there is room.
[23] And the lord said unto the servant, Go out into
the highways and hedges, and compel them to come in, that my house may be
filled.
[24] For I say unto you, That none of those men which were bidden shall taste of my supper.
[25] And there went great multitudes with him: and he turned, and said unto them,
[26] If any man come to me, and hate not his
father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and
his own life also, he cannot be my disciple.
[27] And whosoever doth not bear his cross, and come
after me, cannot be my disciple.

[28] For which of you, intending to build a tower, sitteth not down first, and counteth the cost,
whether he have sufficient to finish it?
[29] Lest haply, after he hath laid the foundation, and
is not able to finish it, all that behold it begin to mock him,
[30] Saying, This man began to build, and was not able to finish.
[31] Or what king, going to make war against another
king, sitteth not down first, and consulteth
whether he be able with ten thousand to meet him that
cometh against him with twenty thousand?
[32] Or else, while the other is yet a great way off, he sendeth an ambassage, and desireth conditions of peace.
[33] So likewise, whosoever he be of you that forsaketh not "all that he hath", he cannot be my disciple.

Beware of "False
Feasts"
Please
Don't kiss the calves, it is sin, a lie
Hos.13 [2] And now they sin more and more, and have made them molten images of
their silver, and idols according to their own understanding, all of it the
work of the craftsmen : they say of them, Let the
men that sacrifice kiss the calves.
A "False" feast is sin
Exod.32 one calf
[1] And
when the people saw that Moses delayed to come down out of the mount, the
people gathered themselves together unto Aaron, and said unto him, Up, make us
gods, which shall go before us; for as for this Moses, the man that brought us
up out of the land of Egypt, we wot not what is
become of him.
[2] And Aaron said unto them, Break off the golden earrings, which
are in the ears of your wives, of your sons, and
of your daughters, and bring them unto me.
[3] And all the people brake off the golden earrings which were in their
ears, and brought them unto Aaron.
[4] And
he received them at their hand, and fashioned it
with a graving tool, after he had made it a molten calf : and
they said,
These be
thy gods, O Israel, which brought thee up out of the land of Egypt.
[5 ] And when Aaron saw it, he built an altar
before it; and Aaron made proclamation, and said, To morrow is a feast to
Yehovah .
[6] And
they rose up early on the morrow, and offered burnt offerings, and brought
peace offerings; and the people sat down to eat and to drink, and rose up to
play.
[7] And Yehovah said unto Moses, Go, get thee down; for thy people,
which thou broughtest out of the land of Egypt, have
corrupted themselves:
[8] They have turned aside quickly out of the way which I commanded
them: they have made them a molten calf, and
have worshipped it, and have sacrificed thereunto, and said, These be thy gods,
O Israel, which have brought thee up out of the land of Egypt.
[9] And Yehovah said unto Moses, I have seen this people, and,
behold, it is a stiffnecked people:
[10] Now therefore let me alone, that my wrath may wax hot against them,
and that I may consume them: and I will make of thee a great nation.
[11] And Moses besought Yehovah his God, and
said, LORD, why doth thy wrath wax hot against thy people, which thou hast
brought forth out of the land of Egypt with great power, and with a mighty
hand?
[12] Wherefore should the Egyptians speak, and say, For
mischief did he bring them out, to slay them in the mountains, and to consume
them from the face of the earth? Turn from thy fierce wrath, and repent of this
evil against thy people.
[13] Remember Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, thy servants, to whom thou swarest by thine own self, and saidst unto them, I will multiply your seed as the stars of
heaven, and all this land that I have spoken of will I give unto your seed, and
they shall inherit it for ever.
[14] And Yehovah repented of the evil which he
thought to do unto his people.
[15] And Moses turned, and went down from the mount, and the two tables
of the testimony were in his hand: the tables were written on both their sides;
on the one side and on the other were they written.
[16] And the tables were the work of God, and the writing was the
writing of God, graven upon the tables.
[17] And when Joshua heard the noise of the people as they shouted, he
said unto Moses, There is a noise of war in the camp.
[18] And he said, It is not the voice of them
that shout for mastery, neither is it the voice of them that cry for being
overcome: but the noise of them that sing do I hear.
[19] And it came to pass, as soon as he came nigh unto the camp, that he saw the calf, and the dancing : and Moses' anger waxed hot, and he cast the
tables out of his hands, and brake them beneath the mount.
[20] And he took the calf which they had made,
and burnt it in the fire, and ground it to powder, and strawed
it upon the water, and made the children of Israel drink of it.
[21] And
Moses said unto Aaron, What did this people unto thee, that thou hast brought so great a sin upon them?
[22] And Aaron said, Let not the anger of my
lord wax hot: thou knowest the people, that they are
set on mischief.
[23] For they said unto me, Make us gods, which
shall go before us: for as for this Moses, the man that brought us up
out of the land of Egypt, we wot not what is
become of him.
[24] And
I said unto them, Whosoever hath any gold, let them
break it off. So they gave it me: then I cast it into the fire, and there
came out this calf.
[25] And
when Moses saw that the people were naked ; ( for Aaron had made them naked unto their shame among their
enemies: )
[26]
Then Moses stood in the gate of the camp, and said, Who is on Yehovah's side? let him
come unto me. And all the sons of Levi gathered themselves together unto him.
[27] And he said unto them, Thus saith Yehovah God of Israel, Put every man his sword by his side,
and go in and out from gate to gate throughout the camp, and slay every man his
brother, and every man his companion, and every man his neighbour.
[28] And the children of Levi did according to the word of Moses: and
there fell of the people that day about three thousand men.
[29] For Moses had said, Consecrate
yourselves to day to Yehovah,
even every man upon his son, and upon his brother; that he may bestow upon you
a blessing this day.
[30] And it came to pass on the morrow, that Moses said unto the people,
Ye have sinned a great sin : and now
I will go up unto Yehovah; peradventure I shall
make an atonement for your sin.
[31] And Moses returned unto Yehovah, and
said, Oh, this people have sinned
a great sin, and have made them gods of gold.
[32] Yet now, if thou wilt forgive their sin--;
and if not, blot me, I pray thee, out of thy book which thou hast written.
[33] And Yehovah said unto Moses , Whosoever hath sinned against me, him will I blot out of my book.
[34] Therefore now go, lead the people unto the place of which I have
spoken unto thee: behold, mine Angel shall go before thee: nevertheless in the
day when I visit I will visit their sin
upon them.
[35] And Yehovah plagued the people,
because they made the calf ,
which Aaron made.
a "False" feast in the eighth month, Bul pronounced Bool ( end of Oct. / Nov. )
1Kgs.12 two calves - sin
[1 ] And Rehoboam went to Shechem: for all Israel were come to Shechem
to make him king.
[2 ] And it came to pass, when Jeroboam the son of Nebat, who was yet in Egypt, heard of it, (for he was fled
from the presence of king Solomon, and Jeroboam dwelt in Egypt;)
[3 ] That they sent and called him. And
Jeroboam and all the congregation of Israel came, and spake
unto Rehoboam, saying,
[4 ] Thy father made our yoke grievous:
now therefore make thou the grievous service of thy father, and his heavy yoke
which he put upon us, lighter, and we will serve thee.
[5 ] And
he said unto them, Depart yet for three days, then come again to me. And the
people departed.
[6 ] And
king Rehoboam consulted
with the old men , that stood before
Solomon his father while he yet lived, and said, How do ye advise that I may
answer this people?
[7 ] And they spake
unto him, saying, If thou wilt be a servant unto this people this day, and wilt
serve them, and answer them, and speak good words to them, then they will be
thy servants for ever.
[8 ] But
he forsook the counsel of the old men, which they had given him, and consulted with the young men that were grown up with him, and which stood before him:
[9 ] And he said unto them, What
counsel give ye that we may answer this people, who have spoken to me, saying,
Make the yoke which thy father did put upon us lighter?
[10 ] And the young men that were
grown up with him spake unto him, saying, Thus shalt thou speak unto this people that spake
unto thee, saying, Thy father made our yoke heavy, but make thou it lighter
unto us; thus shalt thou say unto them, My little finger
shall be thicker than my father's loins.
[11 ] And
now whereas my father did lade you with a heavy yoke, I will add to your yoke:
my father hath chastised you with whips, but I will chastise you with
scorpions.
[12 ] So
Jeroboam and all the people came to Rehoboam the
third day, as the king had appointed, saying, Come to me again the third day.
[13 ] And the king answered the people
roughly, and forsook the old men's counsel that they gave him;
[14 ] And spake
to them after the counsel of the young men
, saying, My father made your yoke heavy, and I will
add to your yoke: my father also chastised you with whips, but I will chastise
you with scorpions.
[15 ]
Wherefore the king hearkened not unto the people; for the cause was from Yehovah, that he might perform his saying, which Yehovah spake by Ahijah the Shilonite unto
Jeroboam the son of Nebat.
[16 ] So
when all Israel saw that the king hearkened not unto them, the people answered
the king, saying, What portion have we in David? neither
have we inheritance in the son of Jesse: to your tents, O Israel: now see to thine own house, David. So Israel departed unto their
tents.
[17 ] But
as for the children of Israel which dwelt in the cities of Judah, Rehoboam reigned over them.
[18 ]
Then king Rehoboam sent Adoram,
who was over the tribute; and all Israel stoned him with stones, that he died.
Therefore king Rehoboam made speed to get him up to
his chariot, to flee to Jerusalem.
[19 ] So
Israel rebelled against the house of David unto this day.
[20 ] And it came to pass, when all
Israel heard that Jeroboam was come again, that they sent and called him unto
the congregation, and made him king over all Israel: there was none that
followed the house of David, but the tribe of Judah only.
[21 ] And
when Rehoboam was come to Jerusalem, he assembled all
the house of Judah, with the tribe of Benjamin, an hundred and fourscore
thousand chosen men, which were warriors, to fight against the house of Israel,
to bring the kingdom again to Rehoboam the son of
Solomon.
[22 ] But
the word of God came unto Shemaiah the man of God,
saying,
[23 ] Speak unto Rehoboam,
the son of Solomon, king of Judah, and unto all the house of Judah and
Benjamin, and to the remnant of the people, saying,
[24 ] Thus saith
Yehovah, Ye shall not go up, nor fight against your
brethren the children of Israel: return every man to his house; for this thing
is from me. They hearkened therefore to the word of Yehovah,
and returned to depart, according to the word of Yehovah.
[25 ] Then Jeroboam built Shechem
in mount Ephraim, and dwelt therein; and went out from thence, and built Penuel.
[26 ] And
Jeroboam said in his heart, Now shall the kingdom return to the house of David:
[27 ] If this people go up to
do sacrifice in the house of Yehovah at Jerusalem , then shall the heart of
this people turn again unto their lord, even unto Rehoboam
king of Judah, and they shall kill me, and go again to Rehoboam
king of Judah.
-------------
[28 ] Whereupon the king took counsel, and made
two calves of gold , and said unto them, It is too much for you to go up to
Jerusalem: behold thy gods, O Israel, which brought thee up out of the land of Egypt.
[29 ] And he set the one in Bethel, and the other put
he in Dan.
[30 ] And this thing became a sin : for the people went to worship
before the one, even unto Dan .
[31 ] And
he made an house of high places, and made priests of the lowest of the people,
which were not of the sons of Levi.
[32 ] And Jeroboam ordained a feast in the
eighth month, on the fifteenth day of the month, like unto the feast that is in
Judah ( feast of Tabernacles - 7th month ), and he offered upon
the altar. So did he in Bethel, sacrificing unto
the calves that he had made: and he placed in Bethel the priests of the
high places which he had made.
[33 ] So he offered upon the altar which he had made in Bethel
the fifteenth day of the eighth month, even in the month which he had devised of his own heart;
and ordained a feast unto the children of Israel: and he offered upon the
altar, and burnt incense.
Your sins will follow you
2Kgs.10[ 29] Howbeit from the sins
of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, who made Israel to sin, Jehu departed not from after them, to wit,
the golden calves that were in Bethel, and that were in Dan.
2Kgs.17[ 16] And they left all the commandments of Yehovah their God, and made them molten images, even two calves, and made a grove, and worshipped
all the host of heaven, and served Baal.
2Chr.11[ 14] For the Levites left their suburbs and their
possession, and came to Judah and Jerusalem: for Jeroboam and his sons had
cast them off from executing the priest's office unto Yehovah:[
15] And he ordained him priests for the high
places, and for the devils, and for the calves which he had made .
2Chr.13[ 8] And now ye think to withstand the kingdom of Yehovah in the hand of the sons of David; and ye be a great
multitude, and there are with you golden calves,
which Jeroboam made you for gods.

It is high
time to "wake up"
Paul said - Rom.13
[11] And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of
sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed.
[12] The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us
therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armour of light.
[13] Let us walk honestly, as in the day; not in rioting
and drunkenness, not in chambering and wantonness, not in strife and envying.

Messiah, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfil the lusts
thereof.
