What is a salvation issue?
In other words,
What makes your salvation void?
Answer: any SIN
Another GOSPEL,
Another Yeshua
Another Religion, Doctrine
If you’re not of the God of Israel
If you don’t believe the Word of God was made flesh
If you don’t believe Yeshua is the Messiah
If you don’t believe in Yeshua’s blood atonement
If you are of an anti-Messiah spirit
These are a few Salvation issues!!
This study you may think is long; I only scratched the
surface,
study
yourself
Beware; sin has
become a “way of life” today
Sin is disguised
--------------
Let’s start:
How do we define sin?
Answer: Transgressing the LAW
1John.3
[4] Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.
Prov.28
[9] He that turneth away his ear from hearing the law, even his prayer shall be
abomination.
------------------
John.8[34] Yeshua answered them, Verily, verily, I say
unto you, Whosoever committeth
sin is the servant of sin.
1John.3[8] He that committeth sin is of the devil;
[10]
In this the children of God are manifest, and the children
of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God…
Another
GOSPELs – you are ACCURSED
is a
salvation issue
Gal.1[6] I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the
grace of Messiah unto another gospel:
[7] Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would
pervert the gospel of Messiah.
[8] But
though we, or an angel from heaven,
preach any other gospel unto you than
that which we have preached unto you, let him be
accursed.
[9] As we
said before, so say I now again, If any man preach
any other gospel unto you than that ye
have received, let him be accursed.
Beware of another Yeshua, another gospel and another
spirit
2Cor.11
[4] For if
he that cometh preacheth another Yeshua,
whom we have not preached, or if ye receive another
spirit, which ye have not received, or another
gospel, which ye have not accepted, ye might well bear with him. Why?

A Child of hell
Matt.23
[15] Woe
unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye
compass sea and land to make one proselyte, and when he is made, ye make him twofold more the child of hell than yourselves
-------------------
Things Yehovah hates are salvation issues
[17]
A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood,
[18] An heart that deviseth wicked imaginations, feet
that be swift in running to mischief,
[19] A false witness that speaketh lies, and he that soweth
discord among brethren.
--------------------
Lying to the
Holy Spirit
is a
salvation issue
Acts.5
[1] But a
certain man named Ananias, with Sapphira his wife,
sold a possession,
[2] And kept back part of the price, his wife also being privy to it,
and brought a certain part, and laid it at the apostles' feet.
[3] But Peter said, Ananias, why hath Satan
filled thine heart to lie to the Holy Ghost, and to keep back part
of the price of the land?
[4] Whiles it remained, was it not thine own? and
after it was sold, was it not in thine own power? why
hast thou conceived this thing in thine heart? thou hast not
lied unto men, but unto God.
[5] And Ananias hearing these words fell down, and gave up
the ghost: and great fear came on all them that heard these things.
[6] And the young men arose, wound him up, and carried him out, and
buried him.
[7] And it was about the space of three hours after, when his wife, not
knowing what was done, came in.
[8] And Peter answered unto her, Tell me whether ye sold the land for so
much? And she said, Yea, for so much.
[9] Then Peter said unto her, How is it that ye have agreed together to tempt the Spirit of Yehovah? behold,
the feet of them which have buried thy husband are at the door, and shall carry
thee out.
[10] Then fell she down straightway at his feet, and yielded up the
ghost: and the young men came in, and found her dead,
and, carrying her forth, buried her by her husband.
[11] And great fear came upon all the church, and upon as many as heard
these things.
Blaspheme against the Holy
Ghost
is a
salvation issue
Matt.12
[32] And
whosoever speaketh a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but whosoever speaketh against the Holy Ghost, it shall not
be forgiven him, neither in this world, neither in the world to come.
Mark.3[29] But he that shall
blaspheme against the Holy Ghost hath never forgiveness, but is in danger of
eternal damnation:

Sins that you will surely be put to eternal death
if you die
is a
salvation issue
Exod.21[12] He that smiteth a
man, so that he die, shall be surely put to death.
[15] And he
that smiteth his father, or his mother, shall be surely put to death.
[16] And he
that stealeth a man, and selleth
him, or if he be found in his hand, he shall surely
be put to death.
[17] And he
that curseth his father, or his mother, shall surely be put to death.
[29] But if
the ox were wont to push with his horn in time past,
and it hath been testified to his owner, and he hath not kept him in,
but that he hath killed a man or a woman; the ox shall be stoned, and his owner also shall be put to death.
Exod.22[19] Whosoever lieth
with a beast shall surely be put to death.
Exod.31[14] Ye shall keep the
sabbath therefore; for it is holy unto
you: every one that defileth
it shall surely be put to death: for whosoever doeth any work
therein, that soul shall be cut off from among his people.[15] Six days
may work be done; but in the seventh is the sabbath
of rest, holy to Yehovah: whosoever doeth any work
in the sabbath day, he shall surely be put to death.
Exod.35[2] Six days shall work be done, but on the seventh day there shall be to you an holy day, a sabbath of rest to Yehovah: whosoever doeth work therein shall be put to death.
Lev.19[20] And whosoever lieth carnally with a woman, that is a bondmaid, betrothed
to an husband, and not at all redeemed, nor freedom given her; she shall be
scourged; they shall not be put to death,
because she was not free.
Lev.20[2] Again, thou shalt say to the children of
Israel, Whosoever he be of the children of Israel, or of the strangers that
sojourn in Israel, that giveth any of his seed unto Molech;
he shall surely be put to death: the
people of the land shall stone him with stones.
[9] For
every one that curseth his father or his mother shall
be surely put to death: he hath cursed
his father or his mother; his blood shall be upon him.
[10] And
the man that committeth adultery with another man's
wife, even he that committeth adultery with his neighbour's wife, the adulterer
and the adulteress shall surely be put to death.
[11] And
the man that lieth with his father's wife hath
uncovered his father's nakedness: both of them shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.
[12] And if
a man lie with his daughter in law, both of them shall surely be put to death: they have wrought confusion; their
blood shall be upon them.
[13] If a
man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman,
both of them have committed an abomination:
they shall surely be put to death; their
blood shall be upon them.
[15] And if
a man lie with a
beast, he shall surely be put to death:
and ye shall slay the beast.
[16] And if
a woman approach unto any beast, and lie
down thereto, thou shalt kill the woman,
and the beast: they shall surely be put to death;
their blood shall be upon them.
[27] A man
also or woman that hath a familiar spirit, or that is a wizard, shall
surely be put to death: they shall stone
them with stones: their blood shall be upon them.
Lev.24[16] And he that blasphemeth the name of Yehovah, he shall surely be put to death, and all the congregation
shall certainly stone him: as well the stranger, as he that is born in
the land, when he blasphemeth
the name of Yehovah, shall be put to death.
[17] And he
that killeth any man shall surely be put to death.
[21] And he
that killeth a beast, he shall restore it: and he
that killeth a man, he shall be put to death.
Num.1[51] And when the tabernacle setteth
forward, the Levites shall take it down: and when the tabernacle is to be
pitched, the Levites shall set it up: and the
stranger that cometh nigh shall be put to death.
Num.3[10] And thou shalt appoint Aaron and his sons,
and they shall wait on their priest's office: and the
stranger that cometh nigh shall be put to death.
[38] But
those that encamp before the tabernacle toward the east, even before the
tabernacle of the congregation eastward, shall be Moses, and Aaron and his
sons, keeping the charge of the sanctuary for the charge of the children of
Israel; and the stranger that cometh nigh shall be
put to death.
Num.15[35] And Yehovah said unto Moses, The man shall be
surely put to death: all the congregation shall stone him with stones
without the camp.
Num.18[7] Therefore thou and thy sons with thee shall
keep your priest's office for every thing of the
altar, and within the vail; and ye shall serve: I
have given your priest's office unto you as a service of gift: and the stranger that cometh nigh shall be put to death.
Num.35[16] And if he smite him with an instrument of
iron, so that he die, he is a murderer: the murderer
shall surely be put to death.
[17] And if
he smite him with throwing a stone, wherewith he may
die, and he die, he is a murderer: the murderer
shall surely be put to death.
[18] Or if
he smite him with an hand weapon of wood, wherewith he
may die, and he die, he is a murderer: the murderer
shall surely be put to death.
[21] Or in
enmity smite him with his hand, that he die: he that
smote him shall surely be put to death;
for he is a murderer: the revenger of blood shall
slay the murderer, when he meeteth him.
[30] Whoso killeth any person, the murderer
shall be put to death by the mouth of witnesses: but one witness
shall not testify against any person to cause him to die.
[31]
Moreover ye shall take no satisfaction for the life of a murderer, which is guilty of death: but he shall be surely put to death.
Deut.17[6] At the mouth of two witnesses, or three
witnesses, shall he that is worthy of death be put to
death; but at the mouth of one witness he shall not be put to death.
Deut.21[22] And if a man have committed a sin worthy of
death, and he be to be put to death, and
thou hang him on a tree:
No
Generational curses
Deut.24[16] The fathers shall not be put to death
for the children, neither shall the children be put to death for the
fathers: every man shall be put to death for his own
sin.
Josh.1
[18] Whosoever he be that doth rebel against thy
commandment, and will not hearken unto thy words in all that thou commandest him, he shall be put to
death: only be strong and of a good courage

Presumptuous Sin
is a
salvation issue
Ignorant Sin, we have a chance
ONE LAW for all
[15]
One ordinance shall be both for you of the
congregation, and also for the stranger that sojourneth
with you, an ordinance for ever in your generations:
as ye are, so shall the stranger be before Yehovah.
[16] One law and one manner shall be for you,
and for the stranger that sojourneth with you.
[17] And Yehovah spake unto Moses, saying,
[22] And if ye have erred, and not observed all these commandments,
which Yehovah hath spoken unto Moses,
[23] Even all that Yehovah hath commanded you by the hand of Moses, from
the day that Yehovah commanded Moses, and henceforward among your generations;
[24]
Then it shall be, if ought be committed by
ignorance without the knowledge of the congregation, that all the
congregation shall offer one young bullock for a burnt offering, for a sweet savour unto Yehovah, with his meat offering, and his drink
offering, according to the manner, and one kid of the goats for a sin offering.
[25] And the priest shall make an atonement for all the congregation of
the children of Israel, and it shall be forgiven them; for it is ignorance: and
they shall bring their offering, a sacrifice made by fire unto Yehovah, and
their sin offering before Yehovah, for their
ignorance:
[26] And it shall be forgiven all the congregation of the children of
Israel, and the stranger that sojourneth among them;
seeing all the people were in ignorance.
[27]
And if any soul sin through ignorance,
then he shall bring a she goat of the first year for a sin offering.
[28] And the priest shall make an atonement for
the soul that sinneth ignorantly, when he sinneth by ignorance before Yehovah, to make an atonement
for him; and it shall be forgiven him.
[29] Ye shall have one law for him that sinneth
through ignorance, both for him that is born among the children of Israel, and
for the stranger that sojourneth among them.
[30] But the soul that doeth ought presumptuously, whether he be born in
the land, or a stranger, the same reproacheth Yehovah;
and that soul shall be cut off from among his people.
[31] Because he hath despised the word of Yehovah, and hath broken his
commandment, that soul shall utterly be cut off; his iniquity shall be upon
him.
[32] And while the children of Israel were in the wilderness, they found a
man that gathered sticks upon the sabbath
day.
[33] And they that found him gathering sticks brought him unto Moses and Aaron,
and unto all the congregation.
[34] And they put him in ward, because it was not declared what should be done
to him.
[35] And Yehovah said unto Moses, The man shall be
surely put to death: all the congregation shall
stone him with stones without the camp.
[36]
And all the congregation brought him without the camp,
and stoned him with stones, and he died; as Yehovah commanded Moses.
----------------------
Exod.21[14] But if a man come presumptuously upon his neighbour, to slay him with guile; thou shalt take him from
mine altar, that he may die.
Deut.17[12]
And the man that will do presumptuously, and will not hearken unto the priest
that standeth to minister there before Yehovah thy God, or unto the judge, even
that man shall die: and thou shalt put away the evil from Israel.
[13] And all the
people shall hear, and fear, and do no more
presumptuously.
Heb.10 [26] For if we sin wilfully after that we have
received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth
no more sacrifice for sins,
[27] But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which
shall devour the adversaries.
[28] He that despised Moses' law died without mercy under two or three
witnesses:
[29] Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who
hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath
counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy
thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace?
[30] For we know him that hath said, Vengeance belongeth
unto me, I will recompense, saith Yehovah. And again, Yehovah shall judge his
people.
[31] It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.

Pss.16
[4] Their sorrows shall be multiplied that hasten after another god: their drink offerings of blood will
I not offer, nor take up their names into my lips.
Deut.13
[1] If there arise among you a
prophet, or a dreamer of dreams, and giveth thee a sign or a wonder,
[2] And the sign or the wonder come to pass, whereof he spake unto thee,
saying, Let us go after other gods, which thou hast not known, and let us serve
them;
[3] Thou shalt not hearken unto the words of that prophet, or that
dreamer of dreams: for Yehovah your God proveth you,
to know whether ye love Yehovah your God with all your heart and with all your
soul.
[4] Ye shall walk after Yehovah your God, and fear him, and keep his
commandments, and obey his voice, and ye shall serve him, and cleave unto him.
[5] And that prophet, or that dreamer of
dreams, shall be put to death; because he hath spoken to turn you
away from Yehovah your God, which brought you out of the land of Egypt, and
redeemed you out of the house of bondage, to thrust thee out of the way which Yehovah
thy God commanded thee to walk in. So shalt thou put the evil away from the
midst of thee.
[6] If thy brother, the son of thy
mother, or thy son, or thy daughter, or the wife of thy bosom, or thy friend,
which is as thine own soul, entice thee secretly, saying, Let us go and serve
other gods, which thou hast not known, thou, nor thy fathers;
[7] Namely, of the gods of the people
which are round about you, nigh unto thee, or far off from thee, from the one
end of the earth even unto the other end of the earth;
[8] Thou shalt not consent unto him, nor hearken unto him; neither shall
thine eye pity him, neither shalt thou spare, neither shalt thou conceal him:
[9] But thou shalt surely kill him;
thine hand shall be first upon him to put him to death, and afterwards the hand
of all the people.
[10] And thou shalt stone him with stones, that
he die; because he hath sought to thrust thee away from Yehovah thy God,
which brought thee out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage.
[11] And all Israel shall hear, and fear, and shall do no more any
such wickedness as this is among you.
[12] If thou shalt hear say in one
of thy cities, which Yehovah thy God hath given thee to dwell there, saying,
[13] Certain men, the children of Belial, are gone out from among you,
and have withdrawn the inhabitants of their city, saying, Let us go and serve
other gods, which ye have not known;
[14] Then shalt thou inquire, and make search, and ask diligently; and,
behold, if it be truth, and the thing certain, that
such abomination is wrought among you;
[15] Thou shalt surely smite the inhabitants of that
city with the edge of the sword, destroying it utterly, and all that is
therein, and the cattle thereof, with the edge of the sword.
[16] And thou shalt gather all the spoil of it into the midst
of the street thereof, and shalt burn with fire the city, and all the spoil
thereof every whit, for Yehovah thy God: and it shall be an
heap for ever; it shall not be built again.
[17] And there shall cleave nought of the
cursed thing to thine hand: that Yehovah may
turn from the fierceness of his anger, and shew thee
mercy, and have compassion upon thee, and multiply thee, as he hath sworn unto
thy fathers;
[18] When thou shalt hearken to the voice of Yehovah thy God, to keep all his
commandments which I command thee this day, to do that which is right in the
eyes of Yehovah thy God.

Ezek 3, 18 and 33 – similar
information
Ezek.3
[17] Son of
man, I have made thee a watchman unto the house of Israel: therefore
hear the word at my mouth, and give them warning
from me.
[18] When I say unto the wicked, Thou shalt surely die;
And
thou givest
him not warning, nor speakest to warn the wicked from
his wicked way, to save his life; the same wicked man shall die in his
iniquity; but his blood will I require at thine hand.
[19] Yet if thou warn the wicked,
and he turn not from his wickedness, nor from his wicked way, he shall die in
his iniquity; but thou hast delivered thy soul.
[20] Again, When a righteous
man doth turn from his righteousness, and commit iniquity, and I lay a stumblingblock before him, he shall die: because thou hast
not given him warning, he shall die in his sin, and his righteousness which he
hath done shall not be remembered; but his blood will I require at thine hand.
[21]
Nevertheless if thou warn the righteous man, that the righteous sin not, and he
doth not sin, he shall surely live, because he is warned; also thou hast
delivered thy soul.
Ezek.18
[1] The word of Yehovah came
unto me again, saying,
[2] What mean ye, that ye use this proverb concerning the land of
Israel, saying, The fathers have eaten sour grapes, and the children's teeth
are set on edge?
[3] As I live, saith the Lord Yehovah, ye shall not have occasion any
more to use this proverb in Israel.
[4] Behold, all souls are mine; as the soul of the father, so also the soul
of the son is mine: the soul that sinneth,
it shall die.
[5] But if a man be just,
and do that which is lawful and right,
[6] And hath not eaten upon the mountains, neither hath lifted up his eyes to
the idols of the house of Israel, neither hath defiled his neighbour's
wife, neither hath come near to a menstruous woman,
[7] And hath not oppressed any, but hath restored to the debtor his pledge,
hath spoiled none by violence, hath given his bread to the hungry, and hath
covered the naked with a garment;
[8] He that hath not given forth upon usury, neither hath taken any increase,
that hath withdrawn his hand from iniquity, hath executed true judgment between
man and man,
[9] Hath walked in my statutes, and hath kept my judgments, to deal truly; he
is just, he shall surely live, saith the Lord Yehovah.
[10] If he beget a son that is a robber, a
shedder of blood, and that doeth the like to any one of these things,
[11] And that doeth not any of those duties, but even hath eaten upon
the mountains, and defiled his neighbour's wife,
[12] Hath oppressed the poor and needy, hath spoiled by violence, hath not
restored the pledge, and hath lifted up his eyes to the idols, hath committed
abomination,
[13] Hath given forth upon usury, and hath taken increase: shall he then live? he shall not live: he hath done all these abominations; he
shall surely die; his blood shall be upon him.
[14] Now, lo, if he beget a son, that seeth all his
father's sins which he hath done, and considereth,
and doeth not such like,
[15] That hath not eaten upon the mountains, neither hath lifted up his eyes to
the idols of the house of Israel, hath not defiled his neighbour's
wife,
[16] Neither hath oppressed any, hath not withholden
the pledge, neither hath spoiled by violence, but hath given his bread to the
hungry, and hath covered the naked with a garment,
[17] That hath taken off his hand from the poor, that hath not received usury
nor increase, hath executed my judgments, hath walked in my statutes; he shall not die for the iniquity of his father, he shall
surely live.
[18] As
for his father, because he cruelly oppressed, spoiled his brother by
violence, and did that which is not good among his people, lo, even he shall die in his iniquity.
[19] Yet say ye, Why?
doth not the son bear the iniquity of the father? When
the son hath done that which is lawful and right, and hath kept all my
statutes, and hath done them, he shall surely live.
[20] The soul that sinneth,
it shall die.
The son shall not bear the iniquity of
the father, neither shall the father bear the iniquity
of the son: the righteousness of the righteous shall be upon him, and the
wickedness of the wicked shall be upon him.
[21] But if the wicked will turn from all his
sins that he hath committed, and keep all my statutes, and do that which is
lawful and right, he shall surely live, he shall not die.
[22] All his transgressions that he hath committed, they shall not be mentioned
unto him: in his righteousness that he hath done he shall live.
[23] Have I any pleasure at all that the wicked should die? saith the Lord Yehovah: and not that he should return from
his ways, and live?
[24] But when the righteous turneth away from his righteousness, and committeth iniquity, and doeth according to all the
abominations that the wicked man doeth, shall he live? All his righteousness
that he hath done shall not be mentioned: in his trespass that he hath trespassed,
and in his sin that he hath sinned, in them shall he
die.
[25] Yet ye say, The way of the Lord is not
equal. Hear now, O house of Israel; Is not my way
equal? are not your ways unequal?
[26] When a righteous man turneth
away from his righteousness, and committeth iniquity,
and dieth in them; for his iniquity that he hath done
shall he die.
[27] Again, when the wicked man turneth away from his wickedness that he hath committed,
and doeth that which is lawful and right, he shall save his soul alive.
[28] Because he considereth, and turneth
away from all his transgressions that he hath committed, he shall surely live,
he shall not die.
[29] Yet saith the house of Israel, The way of the Lord is not equal. O
house of Israel, are not my ways equal? are not your
ways unequal?
[30] Therefore I will judge you, O house of Israel, every one according
to his ways, saith the Lord Yehovah.
Repent, and turn yourselves
from all your transgressions; so iniquity shall not be your ruin.
[31] Cast away from you all your transgressions, whereby ye have
transgressed; and make you a new
heart and a new spirit: for why will ye die, O house of Israel?
[32] For I have no
pleasure in the death of him that dieth, saith Yehovah:
wherefore turn yourselves, and
live ye.
Ezek.33
[1] Again the word of Yehovah
came unto me, saying,
[2] Son of man, speak to the children of thy people, and say unto them,
When I bring the sword upon a land, if the people of the land take a man of
their coasts, and set him for their watchman:
[3] If when he seeth the sword come upon the land,
he blow the trumpet, and warn the people;
[4] Then whosoever heareth the sound of the trumpet,
and taketh not warning; if the sword come, and take him away, his blood shall
be upon his own head.
[5] He heard the sound of the trumpet, and took not warning; his blood shall be
upon him. But he that taketh warning shall deliver his soul.
[6] But if the watchman see the
sword come, and blow not the trumpet, and the people
be not warned; if the sword come, and take any person from among
them, he is taken away in his iniquity; but his
blood will I require at the watchman's hand.
[7] So thou, O son of man, I have set thee a
watchman unto the house of Israel; therefore thou shalt hear the word at
my mouth, and warn them from me.
[8] When I say unto the wicked, O wicked man, thou shalt surely die; if thou dost not speak to warn the wicked from his way,
that wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at
thine hand.
[9] Nevertheless, if thou warn the wicked of his
way to turn from it; if he do not turn from his way,
he shall die in his iniquity; but thou hast delivered thy soul.
[10] Therefore, O thou son of man, speak unto the house of Israel; Thus
ye speak, saying, If our transgressions and our sins be upon us, and we pine
away in them, how should we then live?
[11] Say unto them, As I live, saith the Lord Yehovah,
I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked; but that the wicked turn from
his way and live: turn ye, turn ye from your evil ways; for why will ye die, O
house of Israel?
[12] Therefore, thou son of man, say unto the children of thy people, The righteousness of the righteous
shall not deliver him in the day of his transgression:
as for the wickedness of
the wicked, he shall not fall thereby in the day that he turneth
from his wickedness;
neither shall the righteous be able
to live for his righteousness in the day that he sinneth.
[13] When I shall say to the righteous, that he shall surely live; if he trust to his own righteousness, and commit
iniquity, all his righteousnesses shall not be
remembered; but for his iniquity that he hath committed, he shall die for it.
[14] Again, when I say unto the wicked, Thou
shalt surely die; if he turn from his sin, and do that which is lawful and
right;
[15] If the wicked restore the pledge, give again that he had robbed, walk in
the statutes of life, without committing iniquity; he shall surely live, he
shall not die.
[16] None of his sins that he hath committed shall be mentioned unto him: he
hath done that which is lawful and right; he shall surely live.
[17] Yet the children of thy people say, The
way of the Lord is not equal: but as for them, their way is not equal.
[18] When the righteous turneth
from his righteousness, and committeth iniquity, he shall
even die thereby.
[19]
But if the wicked turn from his wickedness, and do that which is lawful and
right, he shall live thereby.
[20] Yet ye say, The way of the Lord is not
equal. O ye house of Israel, I will judge you every one after his ways.
[21] And it came to pass in the twelfth year of our captivity, in the
tenth month, in the fifth day of the month, that one that had escaped out of
Jerusalem came unto me, saying, The city is smitten.
[22] Now the hand of Yehovah was upon me in the evening, afore he that
was escaped came; and had opened my mouth, until he came to me in the morning;
and my mouth was opened, and I was no more dumb.
[23] Then the word of Yehovah came unto me, saying,
[24] Son of man, they that inhabit those wastes of the land of Israel
speak, saying, Abraham was one, and he inherited the land: but we are many; the
land is given us for inheritance.
[25] Wherefore say unto them, Thus
saith the Lord Yehovah; Ye eat with the blood, and lift up your eyes toward
your idols, and shed blood: and shall ye possess the land?
[26] Ye stand upon your sword, ye work abomination, and ye defile every one his neighbour's wife:
and shall ye possess the land?
[27] Say thou thus unto them, Thus saith the Lord Yehovah; As I live,
surely they that are in the wastes shall fall by the sword, and him that is in
the open field will I give to the beasts to be devoured, and they that be in
the forts and in the caves shall die of the pestilence.
[28] For I will lay the land most desolate, and the pomp of her strength
shall cease; and the mountains of Israel shall be desolate, that none shall
pass through.
[29] Then shall they know that I am Yehovah, when I have laid the land
most desolate because of all their abominations which they have committed.
[30] Also, thou son of man, the children of thy people still are talking
against thee by the walls and in the doors of the houses, and speak one to
another, every one to his brother, saying, Come, I pray you, and hear what is
the word that cometh forth from Yehovah.
[31] And they come unto thee as the people
cometh, and they sit before thee as my people, and they hear thy words, but they will not do them:
for with their mouth they shew much love, but their heart goeth after their
covetousness.
[32] And, lo, thou art unto them as a very lovely song of one that hath a
pleasant voice, and can play well on an instrument: for they hear thy words,
but they do them not.
[33] And when this cometh to pass, (lo, it will come,)
then shall they know that a
prophet hath been among them.
