Today we use the Gregorian calendar from Pope Gregory; from the 1500’s,
January 2, 2016
Middle
English Januarie
Latin Januarius
"of Janus"
Latin Janu(s) "Janus" + -arius "ary
(pertaining to)"
Latin Januarius mensis
"month of Janus"
Janus
is the Roman god of gates and doorways, depicted with two faces looking in
opposite directions. His festival month is January. Januarius had 29 days, until Julius when it became 31 days long.
---------------------------------------------------
Yehovah has His own
calendar
We are now in the 10 month, 21th day of
God called Tevet טֵבֵת
Esth.2 [16] So Esther was taken unto
king Ahasuerus into his house royal in the tenth month, which is the month Tebeth,
in the seventh year of his reign.

This is the first study of the year 2016
Today’s topic:
Let's talk about the Rapture and the Millennium
Millennium -The word millennium is of Latin origin, meaning
a thousand years, not in the Scriptures.
Rapture -This word
is not in the Scriptures.
Do you think we will be raptured and then brought
back to this earth to reign with Messiah for 1000 years?
Who will reign in Jerusalem on this earth in the last
days, Messiah or Anti-Messiah? Scripture says the Anti-Messiah will be in Jerusalem but not
for a 1000 years

Did you ever read these verses?
2 Thes.2 [1] Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of
our Lord Yeshua the Messiah, and by our gathering
together unto him,
[2] That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled,
neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Messiah is at hand.
[3] Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day
shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;
[4] Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is
worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of
God, shewing himself that he is God.
[5] Remember ye not, that, when
I was yet with you, I told you these things?
[6] And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be
revealed in his time.
[7] For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way.
[8] And then shall that Wicked be
revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and
shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:
[9] Even him, whose coming is after the working of
Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,
[10] And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish;
because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.
[11] And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion,
that they should believe a lie:
[12] That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure
in unrighteousness.
[13] But we are bound to give thanks alway
to God for you, brethren beloved of the Lord, because God hath from the
beginning chosen you to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit
and belief of the truth:
[14] Whereunto he called you by our gospel, to the
obtaining of the glory of our Lord Yeshua the Messiah.
[15] Therefore, brethren, stand fast, and hold the traditions
which ye have been taught, whether by word, or our epistle.
[16] Now our Lord Yeshua the Messiah himself, and
God, even our Father, which hath loved us, and hath given us everlasting
consolation and good hope through grace,
[17] Comfort your hearts, and stablish you in every
good word and work.
-----------
1 Thes.4 [15] For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord,
that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not
prevent them which are asleep.
[16] For the Lord himself shall
descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the
trump of God: and the dead in Messiah shall rise first:
[17] Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught
up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
-------------
Let’s go back to the first century and read about the
Millennium
It was said, the Millennium doctrine was started by, as
they put it, an ungodly heretic by the name of Cerinthus,
who lived in the first century.
The
Millennium doctrine started in an ungodly heretic by the name of Cerinthus, who lived in the first century. It is
true that the Jews generally believed that the Messiah would establish a
literal or earthly kingdom.
"The idea of a Millennial
reign proceeded from Judaism; for among the Jews the representation was current
that the Messiah would reign a thousand years upon earth. . . . Such products
of Jewish imagination passed over into Christianity."
"The resurrection would be followed by exquisite
delights in the Millenary reign of Christ." Some people say
Christ will have secretaries.
Look up Cerinthus on the net yourselves
Then we have Judaism that
teaches the Messiah would establish a literal, earthly kingdom and Messiah's
reign would last a thousand years.
Did the idea of a Millennial
reign proceed from Judaism? Did such thoughts from
Judaism's imagination pass over into the so-called Christian and Messianic movements?
We are left, at this point, 2016 AD, with such a vast
abyss of so-called writings and histories to view and study. I prefer to use
the Word and Spirit of the Lord for my understanding and discernment.
Nowhere in the gospels did Yeshua
ever hint of a 1000 year Messianic kingdom on this earth. The apostles, in the
letters, never spoke of a 1000 year Messianic kingdom on this earth.
Read: 2 Thes. 2,
2 Peter 3 – no renewed earth or heaven below
[1] This second epistle, beloved, I now write unto you;
in both which I stir up your pure minds by way of remembrance:
[2] That ye may be mindful of the words which were spoken before by the holy
prophets, and of the commandment of us the apostles of the Lord and Saviour:
[3] Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers,
walking after their own lusts,
[4] And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for
since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the
beginning of the creation.
[5] For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the
heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water:
[6] Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished:
[7] But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the
same word are kept in store, reserved
unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.
[8] But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that
one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.[9]
The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but
is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that
any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
[10] But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the
night; in the which the
heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with
fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.
[11] Seeing then that all these
things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all
holy conversation and godliness,
[12] Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day
of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements
shall melt with fervent heat?
[13] Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.
[14] Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such
things, be diligent that ye may be found of him in peace, without spot, and
blameless. [15] And account that the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation;
even as our beloved brother Paul also according to the wisdom given unto him
hath written unto you;
Here is the problem then and today
[16] As also in all his epistles, speaking in
them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which
they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other
scriptures, unto their own destruction.
[17] Ye therefore, beloved, seeing ye know these things
before, beware lest ye also, being led away with the error of the wicked, fall
from your own stedfastness.
[18] But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Yeshua the Messiah. To
him be glory both now and for ever.
Amen.

Revelations 20 is the only place in scripture where this doctrine stems from and then
misinterpreted.
Let’s read:
John in a vision says:
Rev.20 [4] And I saw thrones, (where?
does not say on this earth) and they sat upon them, and judgment was given
unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were
beheaded (seems like martyrs) for
the witness of Yeshua, and for the word of God, and
which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his
mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and
they lived and reigned with Messiah a thousand years. (Where? It does
not say on this earth, and these people were killed)
Revelations 20 sounds like Revelations 6:
Rev.6 [9] And
when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the
altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for
the testimony which they held:[10 ] And they cried with a loud voice,
saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our
blood on them that dwell on the earth?[11] And white robes were given
unto every one of them; and it was said unto them,
that they should rest yet for a little season, until their fellowservants also and their brethren, that should be
killed as they were, should be fulfilled.
Yeshua said:
John 8 [23] And Yeshua said unto them, Ye are from
beneath; I am from above:
ye are of this world; I am not of this world.
John 18 [36]
Yeshua answered, My kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight , that
I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now is my
kingdom not from hence .
Isa.9 [6] For
unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given : and
the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called
Wonderful, Counseller, The mighty God, The
everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.
[7] Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom
, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with
justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of Yehovah of hosts will perform this.
Luke 1 [33] And he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of His, (Messiah) kingdom there shall be no end.
1 Thes.4 [17] Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up
together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
--------------
Read Matthew 24, 25 just to mention some. No 1000 year reign there
[3] And as he sat upon the mount
of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall
these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy
coming, and of the end of the world?
[4] And Yeshua answered
and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.
[5] For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Messiah; and shall
deceive many.
[6] And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of
wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but
the end is not yet.
[7] For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom:
and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.
[8] All these are the beginning of sorrows.
[9] Then shall they deliver you up to be
afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my
name's sake.
[10] And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and
shall hate one another.
[11] And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.
[12] And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.
[13] But he that shall endure unto the end, the
same shall be saved.
[14] And this gospel of the kingdom shall be
preached in all the world for a witness unto all
nations; and then shall the end come.
[15] When ye therefore shall see the
abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy
place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:)
[16] Then let them which be in Judaea flee into
the mountains:
[17] Let him which is on the housetop not come down to take any thing out of his house:
[18] Neither let him which is in the field return back to take his
clothes.
[19] And woe unto them that are with child, and
to them that give suck in those days!
[20] But pray ye that your flight be not in the
winter, neither on the sabbath
day:
[21] For then shall be great tribulation, such
as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall
be.
[22] And except those days should be shortened,
there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be
shortened.
[23] Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here
is Messiah, or there; believe it not.
[24] For there shall arise false Messiahs,
and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and
wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.
[25] Behold, I have told you before.
[26] Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold,
he is in the desert; go not forth: behold, he is in the secret chambers;
believe it not.
[27] For as the lightning cometh out of the
east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also
the coming of the Son of man be.
[28] For wheresoever the
carcase is, there will the eagles be gathered
together.
[29] Immediately after the tribulation of those
days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the
stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:
[30] And then shall appear the sign of the Son
of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they
shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great
glory.
[31] And he shall send his angels with a great
sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four
winds, from one end of heaven to the other.
[42] Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour
your Lord doth come.
[44] Therefore be ye
also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.
--------------------
[31] When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all
the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory:
[32] And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them
one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep
from the goats:
[33] And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left.
[34] Then shall the King say unto them on his right
hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from
the foundation of the world:
[41] Then shall he say also unto them on the
left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the
devil and his angels:
[46] And these shall go away into everlasting
punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.

Doctrine of chiliasm
chiliasm : χιλιοι chilioi khil'-ee-oy
– Plural, of uncertain affinity; a thousand: - thousand.
---------------------------
As you can see below, I have posted three different
opinions from the Talmud. There are many Sederim
("orders", or major divisions) and tractates (books) in Talmud with
the same men with their different opinions.
Talmud - Mas.
Sanhedrin 97A
R. Kattina said : Six
thousand years shall the world exist, and one [thousand, the seventh], it shall
be desolate, as it is written, And the Lord alone shall be exalted in that
day.32
Abaye said: it will be
desolate two [thousand], as it is said, After two days
will he revive us: in the third day, he will raise us up, and we shall live in
his sight.33
It has been taught in accordance with R. Kattina: Just as the seventh year is one year of release in seven, so is the world:
one thousand years out of seven shall be fallow, as it is written, And the Lord
alone shall be exalted in that day, and it is further said, A Psalm and song
for the Sabbath day,34 meaning the day that is altogether Sabbath 35 and it is also
said, For a thousand years in thy sight are but as yesterday when it is past.36
The Tanna debe Eliyyahu teaches: The world is to exist six thousand years. In the first two thousand there
was desolation;37 two thousand years the Torah
flourished;38 and the next two thousand years is the Messianic era,39
(38) I.e., from Abraham's fifty-second year until one
hundred and seventy-two years after the destruction of the second Temple. This
does not mean that the Torah should cease thereafter, but is mentioned merely
to distinguish it from the next era
Talmud - Mas.
Sanhedrin 97b - but through our many iniquities
all these years have been lost.1
-----------------------------------
Talmud - Mas. Rosh HaShana 31a
It has been taught: R. Judah said in the name of R. Akiba: On the first day [of the week] what [psalm]
did they [the Levites] say? [The one commencing] The earth is the Lord's and
the fulness thereof,
2 because He took possession and gave possession
3 and was [sole] ruler in His universe.
4 On the second day what did they say? [The one
commencing], Great is the Lord and highly to be praised,
5 because he divided His works
6 and reigned over them like a king.
7 On the third day they said, God standeth in the congregation of God,
8 because He revealed the earth in His
wisdom and established the world for His community.
9 On the fourth day they said, O Lord, Thou God,
to whom vengeance belongeth,
10 because He created the sun and the moon and will one
day punish those who serve them. On the fifth day they said, Sing aloud
to the God of our strength,
11 because He created fishes and birds
to praise His name.
12 On the sixth day they said, The Lord reigneth, He is clothed in majesty,
13 because He completed His work and reigned over His
creatures. On the seventh day they said, A
psalm a song for the Sabbath day,
14 to wit,for
the day which will be all Sabbath.
(15) When God shall be alone, between the end of the
world and the resurrection of the dead (Rashi).
Said R. Nehemiah : What ground had the Sages16 for making a difference between these
sections?
17 No.
On the first day [the reason for
the psalm said is] because He took possession and gave possession and was
[sole] ruler in His world;
on the second day because He divided and ruled over
them;
on the third day because He revealed the earth in His
wisdom and established the world for His community;
on the fourth day, because He created the sun and the
moon and will one day punish those who serve them;
on the fifth day because He created birds and fishes to
praise His name;
on the sixth day because He completed His work and
reigned over His creatures;
on the seventh day, because He rested.
The point at issue between them
18 is whether to accept or not the dictum of R.
Kattina;
for R. Kattina
said: The world is to last six thousand years, and one thousand it will
be desolate, as it says, And the Lord alone shall be
exalted in that day .19 (19) Isa. II, 11.
He quotes:
Isa.2 [11] The lofty looks of man shall be humbled, and the haughtiness
of men shall be bowed down, and Yehovah
alone shall be exalted in that day.
[17] And the loftiness of man shall be bowed down,
and the haughtiness of men shall be made low: and Yehovah
alone shall be exalted in that day.
Abaye, however, said: It will be
desolate two thousand, as it says, After two days He
will revive us.20
And he quotes:
Hos. 6 [1] Come,
and let us return unto Yehovah: for he hath torn, and he will heal us; he hath smitten, and he
will bind us up.
[2] After two days will he revive us: in the third day he will raise
us up, and we shall live in his sight.
[3] Then shall we know, if we follow on to know
Yehovah: his going forth is prepared as the morning;
and he shall come unto us as the rain, as the latter and former rain unto the
earth.
(19) A day of God is reckoned as a thousand years, on the
basis of Ps. XC, 4, For a thousand years in thy sight
are but as yesterday; v. Sanh. 97a.
Pss.90 [4] For a thousand years in thy sight are but as yesterday when
it is past, and as a watch in the night.

As you can see, to many different opinions in
the talmud.
Saul says: 1Cor.14 [33]
For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace....
My advice is, let us use the Word of God to research all
matters
-----------------
In 2015 and 2016 -
Some people
are telling me recently that they on the fence with Saul, sad. I just gave a
study on Saul that he was a chosen vessel of Yeshua.
Peter and Ananias said Saul was a beloved brother. Here are two witnesses
besides Saul.
He is one
so-called false discrepancy of Saul explained.
Acts is a short history of the apostles, that use the
Scriptures, TaNaK.
Whoever
wrote Acts, we believe Luke wrote this as many others. Luke may have gotten his
information mixed up, but not on purpose with bad intent to deceive.
This was
written in the 3rd person, “he” by the author of Acts.
-----------------------------
Here is
Saul speaking in the 1st person in Acts 22 and 26 which has no
discrepancies.
This was
written in the 1st person, “I” by Saul.
Acts.22
[6]
And it came to pass, that, as I made my journey, and was come nigh unto
Damascus about noon, suddenly there shone from heaven a great light round about
me.
[7] And I fell unto
the ground, and heard a voice saying unto me, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me?
[8] And I answered, Who art thou, Lord? And he
said unto me, I am Yeshua of Nazareth, whom thou persecutest.
[9] And they that were
with me saw indeed the light, and were afraid; but
they heard not the voice of him that spake to me.
[10]
And I said, What shall I do, Lord? And the Lord said
unto me, Arise, and go into Damascus; and there it shall be told thee of all
things which are appointed for thee to do.
[11] And when I could not see for the glory of that light, being led by
the hand of them that were with me, I came into Damascus.
--------------------
This was
written in the 1st person, “I” by Saul.
Acts.26
[12]
Whereupon as I went to Damascus with authority and commission from the chief
priests,
[13] At midday, O king, I saw in the way a
light from heaven, above the brightness of the sun, shining round about me and
them which journeyed with me.
[14] And when we
were all fallen to the earth, I heard a voice speaking unto me, and
saying in the Hebrew tongue, Saul, Saul, why persecutest
thou me? it is hard for thee to kick against the
pricks.
[15] And I said, Who
art thou, Lord? And he said, I am Yeshua
whom thou persecutest.
[16] But rise, and stand upon thy feet: for I have appeared unto thee
for this purpose, to make thee a minister and a witness both of these things
which thou hast seen, and of those things in the which I will appear unto thee;
[17] Delivering thee from the people, and from the Gentiles, unto whom now I send thee,
[18] To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and
from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins,
and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me.
------------------
My advice again is, let us use the Word of God
to research all matters with Godly discernment and understanding.
Shabbat Shalom
